NDA candidate from Chatra Kalicharan Singh will file nomination on Friday. On this occasion, BJP state president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi and Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri will also participate. Party's Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh and General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Dr. Pradeep Verma will also be present on this occasion.

After the nomination, Marandi will address a public meeting organized at Baba Ghat ground of Chatra. Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri will also address the meeting.

Marandi will address the public meeting organized at Led Hatiya Ground in Gandey, Giridih too in support of NDA candidate Dilip Verma. In Chatra the BJP this time has named local leader Kalicharan Singh as party candidate replacing Sunil Singh who had represented the seat twice. The Chatra seat has gone to Congress with Congress naming Daltonganj former MLA KN Tripathu as its candidate.

The BJP state president also addressed public meeting at Gandey where the JMM has named Kalpana Soren wife of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren as candidate for Gnadey Assembly bypoll.

Kalpana, a homemaker possessing both MTech and MBA qualifications, pursued her school education in Baripada, located in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district. She obtained engineering and MBA degrees from distinct institutions situated in Bhubaneswar.

Kalpana Soren embarked on her political journey during the 51st foundation day celebration of the JMM in Giridih district on March 4. At the event, she asserted that a conspiracy had been by opponents ever since the Hemant Soren-led coalition government came to power in 2019 and that Jharkhand will give a befitting reply to forces who put her husband behind the bars.

State President also addressed the workers in the meeting after the inauguration of Rajmahal Lok Sabha Election Office.

Many officials including State Organization Minister Karmaveer Singh, Rajmahal Lok Sabha candidate Tala Marandi, Dumka MP Sunil Soren, MLA Anant Ojha were present in this meeting.
