Antara to create communities suited for senior citizens

Thursday, 09 January 2014 | PNS | Dehradun

Antara Senior living, a part of the Max India Group, focuses on people over the age of 60 and their first initiative is to create vibrant residential communities that offer “lifestyle with lifecare” for seniors.

The first such community is coming up at Purukul, Dehradun which will be ready for residents to move in to by early 2016. For this they have joined hand with the leading engineering & constructions conglomerate, Shapoorji Pallonji. Driven by the spirit of excellence, Antara already has partnered with world’s leading architects and designers Perkins Eastman (New York, USA) and Esteva & Esteva (Spain) and now this partnership with Shapoorji Pallonji further strengthens the team working towards timely completion of the project.

The strategic decision of partnership with Shapoorji Pallonji has been taken to ensure that Antara delivers a community with an un-paralleled infrastructure offering and services as its core differentiator. Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering and Construction (SPEC) will be responsible for execution of all civil and structural works of the project.

The civil construction began on October 9, 2013, and  then Tara Singh Vachani, CEO Antara Senior living said “Antara’s promise is to provide the best in class service, facilities and infrastructure to seniors in India. Hence, we have chosen a leader like Shapoorji Pallonji as our esteemed partners to build the first community in Dehradun. They have built a strong reputation over the years by delivering projects in time and keeping quality as their prime focus.

“As the Antara community will be customized to suit the living style of seniors specifically, we elected a partner that will help us deliver an innovative community that matches worldwide standards.” “We take pride in having world front-runners like Shapoorji Pallonji,  Esteva & Esteva and Perkins Eastman to help us bring a community which will change the face of senior living in India.”
