Meeting of the Ward committee of Zone number 07 held on Monday under the chairmanship of BMC Chairman Surjeet Singh Chouhan.
The development works of ward number 30, 31, 32, 46 and 51 were reviewed during the meeting. Chouhan instructed the officials to complete the undergoing development works during the meeting. He also reviewed the collection during the National lok adalat.
Chouhan instructed the health officer to clean the area of the zone ahead of the diwali and to start a special cleanliness drive.
Chouhan instructed the assistant engineers to ensure the working of the public electricity facility.
The officials have also taken a decision during the meeting that the hawkers’ corner near Nutan College would be developed as the women hawkers’ corner. The Corporators also met the BMC Commissioner after the meeting in the leadership of Surjeet Singh Chouhan.
Various decisions were taken during the meeting regarding the water supply problem, MGD plant and other leading issues of the area. A proposal was also passed during the meeting regarding the illegal constructions inside the shops of the New Market area. Many issues were in the meeting discussed regarding the development of the area.
Corporator Yogendra Singh, Guddu Chouhan, Amit Sharma, Seema Saxena, Jagdish Yadav, Ward Committee’s Secretary Arjun Meghani, Assistant Engineer (civil) DK Sharma, Assistant Engineer SK Raghuvanshi and In-charge Health Officer Ashish Shrivastava along with the other officials of BMC remained present during the meeting.
