SP expelled Vijay Mishra from the party

Samajwadi Party on Tuesday expelled the sitting MlA Vijay Mishra from the party for the anti party activities. He was elected from the Gyanpur assembly constituency in Bhadoi district in 2012 and the party had denied him the ticket for 2017 assembly election. Mishra is contesting the election as an independent candidate. Samajwadi party spokesperson Rajendra Chowdhary said here on Tuesday that the party’s national president has decided to expel all those who are indulging in indiscipline by contesting the election as rebel candidate against the official candidate of the party.

SP on February 24 had expelled seven family members and close confident of SP MlA Vijay Mishra. His wife Ramlali Mishra, an MlC from Mirzapur and his son Manish Mishra, a block pramukh of Gyanpur along with five others were expelled from the party for anti-party activities. On same day SP had also expelled several leaders including Amarmani Tripathi, son of murder convict Amarmani Tripathi for contesting as an Independent candidate in the assembly elections. Rajendra Chowdhary said that Neeraj Singh of   Ballia has also been expelled from the pary for contesting the assembly election as rebel candidate from Baansdeeh assembly constituency of the district. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav will address seven election meetings on Wednesday. He will address five meetings in Deoria district and two in Mau district.  Polling in these districts will be held on March 4 in the sixth phase of state assembly election of UP assembly. The seventh and the final phase of polling will be held on March 8 and counting of votes will be taken up on March 11.
