In what is an ominous indication for the already fragile security situation in the Valley, the Islamic State Jammu & Kashmir (ISJK) has given a call to the people of the State to dissociate from the separatist Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani by branding him as a “kafir” (infidel) for being MLA of the State Assembly and continuing to draw pension from the Government.
The outfit has also dubbed the chief of Hizbul Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin as a “kafir” and warned that what is to come in Kashmir will be more devastating and bitter than what is happening now.
The outfit’s in an open communication says, “The flames ignited years ago in Iraq have now scorched the battleground in Kashmir, so to spread in the rest of Hind (India). What is happening in Kashmir is just a glimpse. What is yet to come will be more devastating and more bitter.”
It further said, “Any disbeliever who wages war against Islam and Muslims is to be killed without any pity or remorse.”
“Undoubtedly, the death of a single Muslim, no matter his role in the society, is more grave to the believer than the massacre of every Kafir on earth. Keeping this mind, how can Ummah (Muslim community) forget the backstabbing of Pakistan when they attacked the Laal Masjid and when thousands of brothers and sisters were killed in Waziristan and other tribal areas of Pakistan by the apostate Pakistani regime in order to please their masters in America,” exhorts the outfit.
The outfit claims that Muslims of Kashmir have been “relentlessly killed” by the cow-worshipping Hindus and the Murtadeen (apostasy) who ally with the “kuffar” (non believers of Islam).
The ISIS has also argued Geelani’s bid to seek resolution of the Kashmir issue through UN as an un-Islamic act as it terms the international body as a “taghut” (false God). The international terror group has also cited Geelani’s support to Shias as un-Islamic. The ISIS has also termed Syed Salahuddin of the Hizbul Mujahieen as a Kafir. Intelligence sources said the ISIS intends to target the secessionists and terrorist groups to consolidate its base in the State and would subsequently target Government infrastructure.
Counter terrorism expert Dr Rituraj Mate told The Pioneer, “There has been a regime change in Pakistan and the newer terror players in the region are seeking support of Pakistan Government which has put in place a condition to replace the Hurriyat leadership for getting its support. The ISIS is seeking to grab the frustrated terror cadres in J&K as the terrorists are demoralised due to the highest levels of professional results by the security forces.”
“It is obligatory upon all Muslims in Kashmir that we make disassociation from these leaders and neither support them nor have any love sympathy for them unless they respect and return back to Islam, “ the magazine exhorts to the people of Jammu & Kashmir through an article.
Syed Ali Shah Shah Geelani was an MLA (Jammu & Kashmir Assembly) in the past…The important function of this Assembly is law making. So MLAs help in making laws that are implemented on people of the land.
“The right of ruling, commanding and prohibiting is for none but Allah…and he makes none to share in his Judgment and Rule. Whoever makes himself part of this legislative body (Assembly, Parliament etc) then he becomes a “kafir”. This is same as making god besides Allah,” claims the terror outfit.
According to the outfit, Geelani must admit that he committed “kufr” (disbelief in Islam) amd must repent publicly because act of “kufr” was committed publicly. This is true for Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin. Another act of Kufr by Geelani is seeking judgment from United Nations. It is well known that UN is a “taghut” (false God because it rules by man-made laws that are against Shariah thus making itlsef partner with Allah’s right to legislate.
“Geelani has been heard saying in Media that Shiaism is another Madhab of Islam. Recently, he said this when he condemned some brothers who protested against Assad for killing Muslims in Syria. It was around mid-2017. There are also incidents when he praised Ayatollah Khomeini and Iran,” it added.
