Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi- Kahani Matarani Ki narrates the untold story of Maa Vaishnodevi, said television actor Hrishikesh Pandey.
He was in Bhopal on Friday along with his co-actress Toral Rasputra.
He said that the riveting mythological drama series very powerfully outlines how Maa Vaishno Devi changes people’s lives even in her childhood by addressing grave problems of pain, hunger and poverty that touches her soul. And as she grows up, how she fights every battle she faces in order to achieve her higher purpose and how she strives to end Paap (the evil in the world) and not the Paapi (the sinner).
He said, "The show has answers to the unanswered questions pertaining to the birth and journey of Maa Vaishnodevi on earth. It has created awareness among audiences about the inception of concepts like Bhandara, Jagrata etc."
Toral said that the show brings to light, the theories and concepts which are followed by people without knowing the actual reason behind its commencement.
The upcoming story line is one of the biggest high-point in our show. The track will showcase how the inception of Jagrata took place in society. The Bhakts of Maa Vaishno Devi know what a Jagrata is, but for the very first time the viewers will get to know why the Jagrata happens and what is the purpose behind the same.
The larger than life lavish sets and the costumes par extravagance lend an air of classical grandeur.
While Hrishikesh Pandey plays King Ratnakar, Goddess Vaishnavi’s father, Toral Rasputra essays the role of her mother.
