First successful hip replacement surgery done at Sadar Hospital

For the first time a successful full hip replacement surgery was carried out at Sadar Hospital, Ranchi under the Ayushman Bharat scheme on Saturday. Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chhavi Ranjan wished the entire team for the achievement and urged them to constantly strive to provide proper facilities to the general public.

This is the first surgery of its kind completed at Sadar Hospital and it was performed by the team of Dr Nitish Priya, Dr Muzammil, Dr Abhishek and Dr Prabhat.

“The district administration team and Sadar Hospital are constantly trying to provide all possible facilities to the general public with the help of various resources. Earlier also some patients have been treated under the Ayushman Bharat scheme at Sadar Hospital. For the first time full hip replacement surgery was done which has been successful. Thanks to Dr Nitish Priya and the entire team. We will continue to work hard and serve the masses,” said Civil Surgeon Ranchi Dr Bijay Bihari.

“It is heartening to know that despite the limited resources available, the team at Sadar Hospital did it. Thanks to the entire team and doctors who performed the surgery. The district administration is providing all possible help to Sadar Hospital. It is our priority to make all the facilities available to the common people in our City itself. Attempts to strengthen the system are being made with the help of the available resources,” said the DC.

Meanwhile as per the directives of the DC land dispute resolution day was organised in all the zones of Ranchi district on January 9. In this concerned zonal officer, station incharge, zonal inspector and revenue sub inspector were present.

A total of 258 applications were received from all the zones of the district. About 173 cases were executed expeditiously while further action will be taken on the remaining 85 cases.

Most of the cases were related to forced intervention, land measuring dispute, mutual partition dispute and double settlement among others.
