Sisodia again throws debate challenge to Madan Kaushik

Sunday, 03 January 2021 | PNS | Dehradun

Taking the ongoing war of wits with the senior Cabinet Minister of Uttarakhand, Madan Kaushik, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, has invited him for an open debate on ITDA auditorium in Dehradun on January 4.

In a letter to Kaushik, the Deputy CM has said that Kaushik can have debate with him on the Delhi model of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi on January 6.  Addressing the media persons here on Saturday, the Vice President of Uttarakhand unit of AAP, Razia Beg said that the Deputy CM of Delhi has invited Kaushik for debate on ‘ Kejriwal model vs Trivendra model’ in Dehradun on January 4 at 11 am.  She said that Sisodia has also extended an invitation to Kaushik for a debate on the development works in Delhi under AAP Government on January 6. The spokesperson of the AAP, Sanjay Bhatt said that Sisodia in his letter has said that there is a general impression in Uttarakhand that the Trivendra Singh Rawat is a ‘ Zero Work CM’ as in the last four years he has not done anything.

It is worth mentioning here that Sisodia during his last visit to the State had challenged the BJP leaders to enlist five works done by the Trivendra Singh Rawat Government. In response to this challenge, the senior Cabinet Minister and Government spokesperson Madan Kaushik had said that he is ready for a debate and can enlist not five but 100 works done by the BJP Government of Uttarakhand.  Sisodia has now thrown the ball in the court of Kaushik and it would be interesting to know how he reacts to the gauntlet thrown by the AAP leader.
