Weekend brunch at The Claridges

With the onset of winter, The Claridges New Delhi has unveiled its first-of-its-kind Sunday Brunch.

 The Sunday Brunch has become an essential culinary experience in the Delhi winters, with The Claridges offering cuisines from across the globe, including signature dishes from its celebrated restaurants — Dhaba, Pickwick, Jade, Sevilla and Ye Old Bakery — prepared by seasoned culinary experts.

This year, the hotel has carefully crafted a fine gourmet spread under the winter sun when it comes to a luxurious, elegant and lavish Sunday brunch experience in Lutyens Delhi. A brunch that’s all about warmth, togetherness, and excitement.

Guests can savour a multitude of European, Oriental and Indian dishes from a vast selection of delectable soups, appetisers, salads, grills, main course and desserts from the interactive counters set up in the Garden. The menu highlights include dim sums, pizzas, pastas, Mexican and Spanish food, a variety of salads and cheese, grills and roasts and a dedicated Oriental counter serving tempura dishes, dim sums and sushi. Notable among the delicacies are antipasti courses like preserved calamari, marinated olives medley and Mediterranean vegetable with cherry tomato; salads like shredded carrot with asparagus and baby corn salad and grilled chicken sausage with bell pepper, and oven-roasted lamb salad with carrot and haricot vert; freshly baked French baguettes, multi-grain and gluten-free breads and rolls; a variety of pizzas; pastas with choice of arrabiata, white sauce, and creamy sundried tomato sauce; Cajun marinated cottage cheese stuffed steaks and grilled prawns, Red snapper, sea bass with a choice of marinates. The icing on all this is the cake making ceremony during the Sunday brunch starting in November and leading up to Christmas celebrations.

The Sunday Brunch beverages menu offers a wide range of alcoholic beverages including a selection of world-class martinis and cocktails from the Martini Bar, besides mocktails, juices, milkshakes, smoothies and fruit punch for children.

Taco Fiesta at One8 Commune                                 

Come out to the Inaugural Taco Festival being held at One8 Commune, Aerocity and get ready for an action-packed time filled with a variety of tacos on the menu curated by the celebrated chef — Pawan Bisht. Preparations have been made to capture the spirit of Mexican culture in all its glory to give customers a flavour of Mexico with a desi fusion.

With a vast variety of tacos being offered, chef brings out the recipe with a desi twist such as Asparagus Bandel chop tacos made with Thepla, home-style mixed pickle and cream cheese mousse and lettuce, Jamaican jerk brie tacos made with Madua roti (finger millet flour), pico de gallo, sour cream and lettuce for the vegetarians in the house and Kasundi fish tacos made with Bhakri, oven-cooked fish, lettuce and lemon wedge, No bread chicken tacos made with spicy chicken, creamy cilantro dressing and romaine lettuce; Shredded mutton kosha tacos made with Missi roti, sour cream, lettuce and red cabbage are some of the taco delicacies in the menu for the non-vegetarians.

Fresh sangria menu at Mamagoto

Mamagoto has launched an exciting Sangria menu that will satisfy your soul, as well as elevate your dining experiences this winter season.

The limited menu sees the launch of a huge variety of their favourite beverage, including the Passionate ginger and Orange juice sangria, Plum and pineapple sangria, Strawberry and thyme sangria and all-time favourite winter cocktails, White and red mulled wines, which will keep you coming back for more. A glass of the sangria or mulled wine is priced at `499/++ whereas, a pitcher is priced at `1299/++.

With a wide variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes on the table, Mamagoto’s new sangria menu goes perfectly with some of their classic favourites such as the Rainbow sushi, their Wild mushroom edamame with cream cheese, Truffle oil dimsums, and Prawn & crab meat with edamame dimsums, among many others.

That’s not all. With every sushi order, you can get a pitcher of sangria only at `999/-. With stunning decor, the perfect atmosphere, great offers and the most delectable pan-asian cuisine, Mamagoto is certainly the ideal place to be at this season.
