Gharu to support creating voters awareness

Secretary State Election Commission, Rakesh Singh urged Sarika Gharu, teacher Sohagpur, Hoshangabad district, voluntary organization Transform Rural India and Samarth-Centre for Development Support for participation in voter awareness campaign for three-tier panchayat elections and urban body elections.

 

Singh has said that these institutions can seek election related information by contacting the Deputy District Election Officers and the nodal officers appointed for publicity of the respective districts. NGOs "Transform Rural India" and "Samarth" have been asked to participate in voter awareness campaign in Jhabua, Alirajpur, Badwani, Dhar, Dewas, Mandla and Dindori districts and Samarthan in Panna, Chhatarpur, Umaria, Khandwa and Sehore districts.
