Indian Chamber of Commerce organises Mutual Funds Conclave

Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organized the Mutual Fund Conclave 2022-23 here on Friday. Dr. Amritanshu Prasad, Chairman, ICC Jharkhand Chapter presided over the meeting and welcomed all the guests. In the welcome address, he spoke about the potential of Mutual Funds in the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) market after the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war. He also explained that the business world has changed dramatically over the past few decades, and we now live in a society where change can be rapid, continuous and unpredictable. The need of the hour is a balanced strategy which helps investors to understand how to manage their portfolio. The objective of this conclave was to educate the common man about the risks of the market and how to maximize investment returns and create wealth in the VUCA world through the intelligent option of Mutual Funds.

 

As the Chief Guest of the Programme, Pranav Variava, Assistant General Manager, SEBI, shared ideas related to market risks and suggested the answers to the challenges of mutual funds. Addressing the event, Mohammad Aamir Sulaiman, Zonal Manager – Investor Education & Distributor Development, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd also spoke about the ways and returns of the market and investor. AVP of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Abhishek Kumar was also present on the occasion. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Amritanshu Prasad.
