Kejriwal promised to end ‘Parcha Raj’, says all fake cases to be dismissed

Tuesday, 15 February 2022 | PNS | Sham Churasi/Hoshiarpur/Chandigarh

Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday promised that with the formation of party’s Government in Punjab, the ‘Parcha Raj’ would be abolished and the false cases registered against youth and common people would be dismissed.

Kejriwal, addressing public rallies while campaigning for party candidates Dr Ravjot Singh and Brahm Shankar Jimpa in Sham Churasi and Hoshiarpur assembly constituencies, also declared that with the formation of AAP government, every household would save Rs 7 lakhs.

“The people of Punjab are wise. When people realize that they can save Rs 7 lakhs, they refuse to accept Rs 2000-2000 from other parties. Hospitals would be set up across the State including in Sham Churasi and the money looted by chit fund companies, including Pearl, would be refunded to the people,” declared Kejriwal.

AAP’s senior leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was campaigning in favour of party's candidate Hardeep Singh Mundian from Sahnewal assembly constituency, also made the same claims saying that the “political parties misuse the power by intimidating the common people and businessmen with the legal cases, but AAP government will end parcha raj in Punjab and all the fake cases will be dismissed. So that, the people can work and live peacefully and can contribute to the state’s development,” he added.

Fiercely targeting the opposition parties, Sisodia said that Akali Dal and Congress leaders are trying to buy votes of people by distributing money. He requested the people to not be influenced by money and vote for AAP to form an honest government in Punjab, that will work for the development and the common people.
