The BJD would win for a sixth time in a row in the State. It would be a historic victory for the party, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at an election rally in Bargarh on Sunday.

Bargarh MP candidate Parineeta Mishra, Bargarh MLA candidate Debesh Acharya, Attabira MLA candidate Senhangini Churia, Bhatli MLA candidate Sushant Singh, Padmapur MLA candidate Barsha Singh Bariha, Bijapur MLA candidate Rita Sahu, Jharsuguda MLA candidate Dipali Das and Brajarajnagar MLA candidate Alka Mohanty appealed to people to vote for them to ensure victory for the BJD.
Bargarh BJD district president Japan Mohapatra and Zilla Parishad president Manini Bhoi also spoke.
