Saturday, 02 November 2024 | PNS | Chandigarh

The State Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday greeted the people of Haryana on the State's formation day and wished them a bright future. Haryana was carved out as a separate state on this day in 1966.

"Today we are celebrating the 59th foundation day of our state. On this historic day, I extend my hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state. I wish you all a bright future," Saini said in a video message on X.

In his message, Saini said that Haryana is among the top states in India in terms of development. Haryana has achieved great strides, be it in economic strength, industrial progress, or public services. The state will continue its non-stop advancement on the path of growth and development.

Saini further said that Haryana is the land of brave soldiers, hardworking farmers, and athletes. Our Jawan (soldiers), Kisan (farmers), and Pehalwan (athletes) play a pivotal role in the state’s development journey. He said that over the past ten years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double-engine sarkar in Haryana has worked with the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ to elevate Haryana’s growth to new heights.

The Chief Minister said that in the journey to make India a developed nation by 2047, Haryana will contribute significantly alongside Prime Minister Modi. He urged the people of Haryana to help make the state the most advanced region in the world by adopting new technology and innovation, bringing prosperity and happiness to Haryana.

The Chief Minister said that when Haryana became a separate state on November 1, 1966, resources were limited. Today, however, Haryana has made remarkable progress in agriculture and industry. Besides this, Haryana has earned worldwide acclaim in sports, with athletes from the state bringing home the maximum medals in international competitions, said Saini.

The Chief Minister said that, under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Haryana's development will be further accelerated to improve the lives of its people. Infrastructure projects are being implemented to bring direct benefits to the people, raising Haryana to new heights in terms of development, said Saini.

This is the season of festivals and celebrations, he highlighted and said, "After Diwali, I extend my hearty congratulations and best wishes to people on the holy festival of Govardhan Puja and to sisters on Bhai Dooj."

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi also greeted the people of Haryana on State’s formation day. In posts on X, Modi also highlighted various features of the State. Haryana is known for its rich and historic heritage and has always made important contributions to the country's development, the PM said.

Responding to the Prime Minister's post on Haryana, Saini said in Hindi, "On behalf of all Haryanvis, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, I also extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes on Haryana Day." Saini further said Haryana would play an important role in building a developed India under the prime minister's guidance.

‘Will rebuild Haryana in line with PM Modi's Viksit Bharat-2047 vision’

In another event, addressing the gathering in Gohana, Sonipat district, Saini said the present state government is dedicated to realizing the vision of an empowered and progressive India, as envisioned by our revolutionary heroes. Emphasizing the importance of unity and collaborative effort, the Chief Minister affirmed the present government’s resolve to rebuild Haryana in alignment with Prime Minister Modi's ambitious Viksit Bharat goal by the year 2047.  He said, “The present state government will lead a new era of development in Haryana. We will fulfill all the promises made in the election manifesto as pledged, advancing the state’s 2.80 crore citizens along a path of inclusive growth.”

The Chief Minister said that the BJP government in Haryana, elected for a third consecutive term, will work with commitment to meet the aspirations of 2.80 crore citizens under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi. He said that officers have been directed to expedite projects in line with the promises made in the election manifesto. As Haryana completes 58 years of progress, all communities deserve congratulations for their contributions, said Saini.

The Chief Minister said that he also acknowledges the role of party workers and voters in reinforcing their trust in the BJP, leading to a historic victory. He said that under the robust system established by former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, his double-engine government will operate at full speed.

The Chief Minister said that during the elections, Congress spread misleading information on unemployment and attempted to delay the recruitment of thousands of youth, revealing an anti-youth mindset. Through the efforts of our dedicated workers, people understood that the BJP is committed to securing the future of young people without favouritism and parchi-kharchi, and the public, especially the youth, have shown their trust in our government, Saini added.
