Senior AAP leader Satyendar Jain on Saturday said his future political responsibilities will be decided by the party and its convener Arvind Kejriwal. On Saturday morning, senior AAP leader Satyendar Jain, along with his family, offered prayers at the Jain temple located in Saraswati Vihar and prayed for the well-being of all the citizens of the country. After being released from jail, Jain met Kejriwal at his residence on Firozshah Road on Friday night. Jain, remarked that justice and the Constitution still prevail in the country, and everyone must respect them. He said, “Without the Constitution, or the courts, the BJP-led central government might have had us hanged by now.â€
Talking about his time in prison, the senior AAP leader further added, “ he often thought about how they sent me, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Sanjay Singh to jail.
They’ve (BJP) imprisoned many of our leaders. What is it about the AAP that makes them want to destroy us?â€
When asked about the CCTV footage from Tihar Jail, Jain stated, “Tihar has cameras everywhere, so why doesn’t footage of anything else come out? Why is only my footage available? They claimed I was having lavish meals, but all I had was seasonal fruit and vegetables. For an entire year, I didn’t eat anything. There’s a canteen where anyone can buy food with money, and I have all the bills to prove it.â€
