Hooliganism in Shahpura area, Minister reaches police station

A case of blatant hooliganism surfaced in the state capital  Pradesh. Abhigyan Narendra Patel, son of Minister of State for Health Narendra Shivaji Patel, assaulted a couple in Gulmohar area. When the matter reached Shahpura police station, the minister's son also argued with the policemen and misbehaved.

Witnessing the matter escalating, Minister of State Narendra Shivaji Patel reached the police station with his supporters at 10.30 pm. After the minister reached the police station, 4 policemen were suspended. Those who were assaulted were given medical treatment late at night.

The investigation of the case is still going on. The incident took place on Saturday night in Shahpura, Bhopal.

According to the information, Minister of State Patel's son Abhigyan Patel was roaming in Trilanga area of Bhopal. Here, near the traffic signal, the car of minister's son collided with the youth's vehicle. After this an altercation took place. Abhigyan and his associates beat up the young man. Seeing the dispute, Dennis Martin alias Sonu, a restaurant operator present on the main road, along with his wife Alisha started intervening.

Abhigyan and his associates attacked Sonu who suffered injuries on his head. When Sonu reached the police station with his wife to complain about the assault, the minister's son also reached there. There was a dispute between them in the police station. When the police asked them to remain calm, they got into an altercation with the staff.

The minister's son started bullying the policemen at the police station. Abhigyan and his friends started misbehaving with the policemen. The police took strict action and reprimanded him. As soon as he got information about this, Minister Patel along with his supporters and councilors reached Shahpura police station at 10.30 pm on Saturday night. The angry father complained about the attitude of the police to the top officials.

A CCTV footage related to the entire incident has also surfaced. Minister supporters say that policemen beat up Abhigyan and his friends. The first FIR in the case was registered at 1:25 pm on the complaint of Alisha.

According to the information, the minister's son has complained to the police that Alisha's husband Dennis and his employees also assaulted her.

Two people including the minister's son were injured, both of them have also been medically examined.

Police said that action is also being taken on their complaint. The restaurant operator told the police that Abhigyan and his associates attacked him on the head with a rod.
