City of Nawabs to celebrate Young Talent at Bulbule festival

Lucknow is set to host a distinct celebration of creativity and childhood with the Bulbule Festival 2025, the city’s first arts and cultural festival dedicated to children. Scheduled for 7 and 8 November 2025 at the India Literacy House, the event is being organised by the Swatantra Talim Foundation, a Lucknow-based organisation that promotes imagination and creative confidence through art and experiential learning. The two-day festival will bring together children, parents, educators and artists for an engaging experience in both visual and performing arts.

Featuring storytelling, puppetry, workshops, music and games, Bulbule promises a lively blend of learning and play. The event seeks to create a joyful space where young minds can explore, express and imagine without limits. Ridhi, co-founder of the Swatantra Talim Foundation, said Bulbule is inspired by the belief that every child carries a world of wonder within. When given the space, their ideas can float free like bubbles, full of colour and life.
