The Embassy of Argentina in India has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack that struck the Indian capital on Monday, November 11.
In an official statement, Argentina’s Ambassador to India, Mariano Caucino, expressed deep solidarity with India and its leadership, affirming that “Argentina stands with India and its Prime Minister in this difficult moment.” Ambassador Caucino described the attack as “unacceptable,” emphasizing Argentina’s firm stance against terrorism in all its forms. “In today’s world, it is unacceptable that some countries promote and harbor terrorism,” he said, underscoring Buenos Aires’s longstanding commitment to combat global extremism. The ambassador condemned terrorism and described the acts as “unacceptable.” Caucino stated that Argentina joins India and all peace-loving nations in rejecting “all forms of terror.” Referring to Argentina’s own history of suffering from terrorist violence, the ambassador recalled the devastating attacks against the Israeli Embassy in 1992 and the AMIA Jewish Community Centre in 1994, which claimed around 100 innocent lives. “We have not forgotten,” he added.
Caucino also highlighted President Javier Milei’s clear position on the global fight against terrorism, noting that the Argentine government “has been very clear in condemning terrorism in all its forms” and reaffirming its support for international efforts to eradicate extremist violence.
“On behalf of the Argentine people and government, I express our solidarity with the victims and our unwavering support for the Indian authorities led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the ambassador concluded. The statement follows widespread international condemnation of the Delhi blast, which authorities in India are currently investigating as a terrorist act.
