In a spirited celebration of vigilance and integrity, Anant Kumar Singh, IPS, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), IndianOil, inaugurated the Inter-School Quiz Competition for Delhi-NCR schools at the SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi, as part of Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 140 schools, including several government institutions and Kendriya Vidyalayas, spreading the message “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility” among young minds.
Addressing the gathering, Singh urged students to imbibe moral values, practice honesty in everyday life and contribute towards building an ethical and corruption-free society. He commended the enthusiasm, knowledge and awareness displayed by the participants and appreciated the continued encouragement provided by schools, teachers and parents in shaping the next generation of responsible citizens.
The competition comprised a written elimination round followed by semi-finals and a thrilling final contested by six top teams. Bal Bharati Public School, Noida, emerged as the winner, while KIIT World School, Pitampura and Jain Bharti Mrigavati Vidyalaya, Nagli, bagged the first and second runners-up positions respectively. Winners’ cheques and trophies were presented to the top three teams and all top fifteen teams were felicitated.
