Shah accuses Opposition
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday charged the INDIA bloc with trying to build a “corridor for infiltrators”, unlike Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who wanted to “set up an industrial corridor”. Addressing back-to-back rallies in Sasaram and Arwal towns of Bihar, on the final day of campaign for the second and final phase of assembly elections, Shah also promised a future that “mortar shells that will be dropped on Pakistan will be manufactured at an ordnance factory in this State”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed appreciation for the people and leadership of Bhutan for the reverent welcome accorded to the holy relics of Lord Buddha from India, and said his teachings are a sacred link between the two nations. He will visit Bhutan on November 11-12.

India, Angola deepens ties
India and Angola on Sunday exchanged multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) to strengthen bilateral ties on subjects like fisheries, aquaculture and marine resources during the first day of President Droupadi Murmu’s official engagements in the African country. The President is on a four-day state visit to the country between November 8-11. This is the first visit by an Indian president to Angola. President Murmu was officially welcomed at the Presidential Palace here by Angolan President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, starting with a 21-gun salute and a ceremonial guard of honour.
