Chief Minister rewards top students with e-scooties

Thursday, 06 February 2025 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that along with merit, adhering to moral values and sanskars is essential for achieving true success in life. He stated that if meritorious students use their talents solely for personal gain, society will not benefit from their potential. The work done with integrity and a focus on the welfare and happiness of others enables students to contribute meaningfully to the progress of society and the nation. Dr. Yadav highlighted that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is on the path to becoming one of the greatest nations in the world. In this transformative era, meritorious students should strive to achieve their goals through their knowledge, abilities, and expertise, while actively contributing to the welfare of society and the nation's development. A meaningful contribution lies in aligning personal growth with national progress. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated this while addressing the state-level e-scooty distribution programme for meritorious students at the Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium.

Yadav stated quoting Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, Emperor Vikramaditya, and Panna Dhai that the unwavering commitment to moral values, combined with extraordinary abilities and strength, has made the lives of these great personalities exemplary from ancient times to the present. Reflecting on the era when the sun never set on the British Empire, he highlighted how Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose showcased remarkable strength and determination on the global stage through his capability and courage. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav encouraged students to face every challenge and difficult time with patience and resilience. He emphasized that while aspiring for government and private sector jobs is important, the youth should also aim to take on leadership roles in society and contribute to educating future generations. Citing Japan's entrepreneurial spirit as an example, he highlighted that through entrepreneurship, young people can become job creators rather than job seekers. The state government, he assured, is fully prepared to provide all possible support and guidance for establishing industries.

Yadav gave the keys of the scooty to 10 meritorious students in the ceremony and also encouraged them by riding with them. Under this scheme of providing scooty to the toppers of government schools in the class 12th examination of the Board of Secondary Education, e-scooty is being provided to 7 thousand 900 talented students in the entire state.

The Chief Minister symbolically presented the keys of e-scooty to Aditya Rathore, Prashant Rajput, Siddharth Sahu, Rafat Khan, Aryan Rajput, Akash Kushwaha, Babli Meena, Palak Singh, Usha Meena and Saloni Dangi and wished them a bright future.

Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav's initiative to provide scooties to meritorious students will make the dream of many families to send their children to college on scooters come true. This initiative will motivate students to study and also facilitate further education.

School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state government is committed to providing quality education to the students of the state. Along with the best infrastructure in government schools, digital classes, smart classes, vocational training programmes, motivation classes, and career guidance have been arranged for the students. Along with these works that directly affect the lives of students, the state government is providing e-scooty to talented students. Minister Singh called upon the students to move forward with determination towards achieving their goals and make efforts towards this with dedication.

Under the Mukhyamantri e-Scooty Yojana, free e-scooties were distributed to 7,900 meritorious students of government schools through a state-level programme.
