Frustrated INDI Alliance plotting to assassinate PM: BJP

Wednesday, 17 April 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Bharatiya Janata Party State spokesperson Pratul Shahdev, while addressing a press conference at the media center on Harmu Road today, accused the INDI Alliance of conspiring to carry out a deadly attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pratul said that JMM Central Committee member Nazrul Islam in Sahibganj, showing his distorted mentality and Jihadi thinking, has threatened to bury PM Modi 400 feet under the ground.

Pratul said that even after 24 hours of this statement becoming public, the police have not taken any action yet. It is clearly visible that the government is promoting such Jihadi elements. Earlier, an RJD leader in Koderma had talked about shooting Modi ji in the skull. This sequence clearly shows that the leaders of the Indian alliance are conspiring to carry out some major incident against Modi and are provoking the public.

Pratul said that it is very and unfortunate that Nazrul Islam has not been arrested yet by Jharkhand Police. This Jihadi person has directly talked about killing the Prime Minister. But still Chief Minister Chaupai Soren and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha are silent.

Pratul said that this entire matter should be investigated at a high level because it is a matter directly related to the security of the Prime Minister of the country. The country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a symbol of the country's identity and pride. By talking about his assassination, the opposition is clearly showing that it has no faith in the democratic process.

Pratul said that the state government wants an atmosphere of anarchy in the entire state. On one hand, RJD and JMM leaders are talking about killing Modi. On the other hand, tribal woman MP Geeta Koda is being held hostage by armed supporters of JMM. Pratul said that the Union Home Ministry should take immediate cognizance because talking about attack and assassination of the country's Prime Minister comes under the category of treason.
