Reiterating that she was “innocent”,  Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur on Tuesday claimed that she had been framed falsely in the 2008 Malegaon blasts case by the previous UPA Government and said that former Home Ministers Sushil Kumar Shinde, P Chidambaram and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh would pay for their “sins” of framing her in the case.

Talking to media persons outside the special NIA court after charges were framed against her and others in the Malegaon blasts case, Sadhvi Pragya hit out at Shinde, Singh and Chidambaram for “framing” her and others in the name of “Hindu terrorism”. 

“The people who have done illegal things will pay for it. Shinde, Digvijay and Chidambaram will pay for their sins. They will die dog’s death and go to hell,” Sadhvi Pragya said. 

Maintaining that Hindus would not indulge in terror acts, Sadhvi Pragya said:

“We as Hindus conduct ourselves peacefully.

In our country of Hindus, there cannot be Hindu terror.

As nationalists, we would not indulge in terror acts. We will root for Hindurashtra and continue to do so”

Denying that she was at any point in time associated with Abhinav Bharat, a right wing outfit which was allegedly behind the 2008 Malegaon blasts, Sadhvi Pragya said: “Like I have stated before, I have never been involved with Abhinav Bharat nor I have ever been its member. Secondly,  Abhinav Bharat i an organisation of Veer Savarkar and how can it be a terror outfit”.

Describing the framing of charges against her as “Kannon ka kel hain”, Sadhvi Pragya said:

“This (NIA) court decided to frame charges against us, it did. Similarly, the NIA had earlier given us a clean chit. Our application is pending the high court. Our struggle will continue”.
