2.5L attend Guv’s Padhein Bhopal edu event

As many as 2.5 lakh students and others actively participated in a 45-minute programme, ‘Padhein Bhopal,’ on Tuesday, from 8.30 am to 9.15 am, organized at the initiative of Governor Anandiben Patel.

The Governor after seeing the successful implementation of the programme and enthusiasm among the children said that such programmes generate awareness among the children and common citizens towards education, which develops into a habit over a period of time.

The students of primary, middle, higher secondary schools, colleges, engineering, medical colleges and universities along with Raj Bhavan school participated in the programme with enthusiasm and complete discipline.

Children and adults both brought books of their interest with them for reading in the programme organized at Bhopal.

A report has been prepared by the team of World Book of Record, London to register this unique programme in the world record by visiting and inspecting several places.

It may be mentioned that the programme was finalized by the Governor by holding meetings during the last one month constantly with the School Education, Higher Education, Universities and all other educational institutions.

The Governor also inspired the students and teachers besides common citizens to link themselves with the programme.

The Governor also urged them to carry along with themselves a book to the campus of school, college, sports ground or any other place of their interest for recitation.

The Secretary to Governor DD Agrawal, Senior Officers-Employees and students read books during the programme.
