Wednesday, 26 September 2018 | Staff Reporter | Raipur

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finally expelled its State Working Committee member in Chhattisgarh and President of Archery Association, Kailash Murarka from the primary membership of the party.

An action was taken in this regard by the State BJP Chief Dharamlal Kaushik on Tuesday after the name of Murarka surfaced in the sex CD scandal chargesheet of CBI as a key accused.

The name of Murarka was already in circulation right from the beginning of the sex CD scandal but a formal action was taken by the party after CBI named him as a main accused for his alleged involvement in preparation of the sleaze sex CD.

Notably, Murarka is active in BJP for a long period and was office bearer of party's district as well as state body from time to time.
