Now, land mutation made online in State

Sunday, 16 September 2018 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

With online mutation of land implemented in all 317 tehsils of the State, manual system of mutation is a passé. As the State Government has set zero pendency of cases and smooth delivery of public services, mutation of land will been done online, henceforth.

This heralds a new beginning for the hapless people, who were waiting months and years together for mutation of land after registration in the Sub Registrar Office.

After registration of land, mutation will be done suo-motu and the Tehsildar is needed to dispose of the case in a time bound manner, said Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi.

The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management (DoRDM) has kick-started several e-Governance applications in land resources management, which Chief Secretary Padhi reviewed recently.

It was informed that computerisation of Record of Rights (RoR) has been done for 1, 56, 21913 Khatiyan and 5,58,01522 plots have been computerised. Digital Cadastal Map has been made in respect of all 51,696 villages and hosted in BhuNaksha website.

As BhuNaksha software has been implemented in all Tehsils, henceforth, mutation cases are deemed to be complete once the map is corrected online through BhuNaksh software, said Padhi. As dedicated connectivity has been provided to all Registration Offices and 317 tehsils, automatic transmission of the FormNo-3 from Registration Office to the corresponding tehsil office is made online for suo-motto institution of mutation cases.

As the Revenue Court Case Monitoring System (RCCMS) has been implemented in all 317 tehsil, 58 Sub Collector and 30 ADM Offices in the State, all revenue cases other than mutation cases are to be disposed of through RCCMS only. Similarly, the Dynamic Web Information System for Tehsils (DWIST) is in operation, as per which each tehsil in their website will display all important information of tehsil for public.
