The Youth for Social Development (YSD) started a month-long campaign on the theme “Sharing Community”.
In this connection, a workshop on sustainable consumption and lifestyle sharing community was organised at the SIMS institute here on Tuesday in which more than 110 students participated and understood the concept of sharing community, best practices and benefits of collaborative consumption and also signed a pledge for sharing community.
On the occasion, known environmental activists Kishore Chandra Patro, Guru Chandra Patro, experts from Organic Soch Avinash Kotni, Sujit and SIMS director Sanjay Sahu joined the event and narrated responsible consumption.
Bibhu Prasad Sahu of YSD set the context for collaborative consumption and Chandan Kumar Sahu and Abhiram Kanhar of YSD coordinated the workshop.
