Swami Vivekanand Library to launch new books today

The teenagers of the city will have new book collection to read at Swami Viavekananda Library. The library will launch the Children’s books and teenager book series on Tuesday at the library.

Keeping in view the upcoming winter vacations, the mega book collection will have as many as 170 books of different genres. The book collection will be launched with the perspective of Young Readers of the city. The Mega Children collection will also have the DVD collection on the racks for the teenagers to refer. 

To increase the interest of children's books, this collection is being brought in Swami Vivekananda Library. Swami Vivekananda Library Manager Yatish Bhatele said that the books like ‘Catch Them Young’ based on sports will be introduced in the collection so that the children would increase their knowledge as well as their interest in reading such books. This time a very attractive series is being launched in the library, which includes some interesting titles, he added.

The name of the series of children's collection includes Ron Roi's A to Z Series, The Moody Series of Megan Macdonald, Philip Pullman's Once Upon a Time in the North, Rick Rialdan's camp half-blood, The Famous Five Treasury of Enid Bleeton, A. Clovene's The Hill School Girls Series and so on.

This collection includes books for illustrations for young children. The Library Membership is available in the Library so that the children can issue the books. Family members can also issue these books.

Mega Children DVD Collection includes Parrot’s The Lost Village, Jurassic World, Show Dogs, Playhouse, Light suit, Down in the Dumps, Tigger and Pooh, Thieves Police, Little Bhima and so on.

Yatish Bhatale said that these books will be displayed on Tuesday. Members can book these and they will get issued the next Sunday. Besides, a grand event including quizzes, Japanese arts and crafts and book reading sessions will also be organized for children on November 17 and 18.
