Yashodhara fest concludes at MP Tribal Museum

Marking the last day of the theatre festival Yashodhara based on Jataka Tales, a play and lecture was held on Wednesday at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum.

The three day fest ended with a lecture by Radhavallabh Tripathi on Jataka Tales and its origin. During the lecture and discussion Radhavallabh Tripathi also talked about what is the importance of such tales narrated and why it should be done.

later, it was followed with a play Jas Sangat Tas Rangat. The play was directed by Abhishek Garg. The play was adapted from the Mahilamukh Jatak.

The play was about the King Brahma Dutt. He had a wise minister in his court and a veri simple and calm elephant. Ine night few thiefs entered the kingdom and plan a loot at the palace.

Thier entire plan was overheard by the elephant. Besides, the thiefs also discussed about how a professional thief should behave. They discuss all the qualities of a perfect thief which was all heard by the elephant.

While all the conversation was going on, the elephant thought that it is all about him. Few days later the elephant started behaving in a very different manner. He became a musbehaved angry elephant.

The king told his minister ro find out the reason. As soon as the minister came to know about it, with his wisdom minister brought elephant back to his normal condition.

The play was much enjoyed by the audience.
