FICCI Odisha State Council chairman Subhrakant Panda said the Union Interim Budget 2019-20 would put more money in the hand of the middle class and also include a minimum income guarantee for farmers.
The likely increase in discretionary spending augurs well for the economy and industry at large.
“Overall, the Budget addresses key sectors of the economy and the need of less privileged while laying out a vision for the future,” he said, adding that it is a “progressive Budget”.
