Chinese delegates visit skill development centres in State

A four-member delegation from the Chinese Consulate, Kolkata visited various skill development centres in Jharkhand on Saturday. The delegation was headed by the Chinese Consulate General Zha Liyou. The other members included Zheng Huiqum, Wang Lifeng and Zhou Yaoyao.

The delegation first inspected Kaushal College at Kutchery Road run by Prejha Foundation. The guests also visited the training centre of the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society (JSDMS) located at the Din Dayal Upadhyaya skill centre.

At the centre, the visitors were welcomed by Vishwaroop Thakur, Anand Mohan and Suman Gope from JSDMS along with the management of CMC Mitcon- Alok Jaiswal and Manish. The delegation was welcomed as per the traditions and culture of Jharkhand. The Chinese delegates were apprised of the practical aspects of the various skill training programs in the construction sector run by the Mitcon centre. The delegation was very impressed with the skill development in the State.

While interacting with the trainers, the visitors expressed their commitment towards the selection of skilled youth trainers for the present and future Chinese companies coming to India. They also gathered information about the working of the allied institutions in the skill development programme from the JSDMS officials.

The Chinese delegation also spoke about high quality training techniques in skill development programs to generate employment in the future.
