Girdhari Nayak heads panel to probe complaint against IPS officer

Followed by complaint from former Home Minister and senior BJP legislator, Nankiram Kanwar, the State Government had ordered probe against senior IPS officer Mukesh Gupta.

Director General (Jails), Girdhari Nayak would be heading the probe Committee. 

The Committee will submit its report within two months.

Notably, Kanwar during recently concluded assembly session was called on by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel where he (Kanwar) handed over a seven-page detailed complaint to Chief Minister against the police official and demanded impartial probe into the matter.
