Haryana roadways unions have announced to hold protest for two-hour at all bus depots on Tuesday against the decisions of State Government to terminate the services of over 350 bus drivers.
“The decision of State Government to terminate the services of drivers recruited through outsourcing will render around 500 people jobless. This includes more than 350 drivers and others employed at roadways workshops,” said Sarbat Punia, general secretary, Haryana Roadways Workers Union.
He said that the Haryana Roadways Employees Coordination committee has decided that protest will be held from 9 am to 11 am at bus all depots in Haryana on Tuesday against the government’s decision.
