SAIL Steel used to make ‘Dhanush’

Steel Authority of India Limited has supplied steel for India’s first indigenous and biggest artillery gun ‘Dhanush’, which was inducted into Indian Army on April 08, 2019. With this, SAIL has once again established its commitment to fulfill country’s every requirement and strengthening India’s defence systems. SAIL’s special alloy steel produced by SAIL-Alloy Steels Plant based at Durgapur has been used for making this artillery gun. ‘Dhanush’ has been indigenously designed and developed by the Gun Factory in Jabalpur where it was handed over to the Indian Army. SAIL, which is in its 60th year of production, has contributed in creating a storng foundation for modern India and at the same time meeting every requirement of special quality steel for Indian defence. SAIL steel has been used in country’s various defence programs including INS Vikrant, INS Kiltan, INS Kamorta, MBT Arjun etc.

Social body distributes food, clothes

In the memory of Shahid Thakur Jee Pathak, the Welfare society members distributed food and clothes to old age home Jamshedpur. Thakur jee Pathak was famous personality who was a social activist who always helped poor people, farmers and always helped the needy of Jamshedpur. He was also very close to former PM Late Chandrashekhar. He devoted his life fighting for people’s rights.

Members who were present his children Chandra prakash Pathak ,Surya Prakash Pathak, Prahlad Pathak, Amit Roy, Ankit Sakuja, Avinav Kumar Goswami, Pintu Sharma, Prashant Pathak, K Tarun Kumar, Ekta Kumari, Sachin Sharma and many others.

AC showroom inaugurated

The second showroom Mitsubishi Heavy Duty Air Conditioner was inaugurated at the Prarthna Heights located at Ratu Road on Wednesday. Company's MD Deepak Dutta and the brand manager RP Giri inaugurated the showroom. Dutta and owner of New Climate Control Rajendra Prasad said that today people like to install air conditioners in their homes due to power consumption. The company advises the customers to take an air conditioner based on the size of the room. The ACs come in the capacity of five to three tons in the inverter and non-inverter type.
