JCC (J) claims govt machinery misused

The Bastar District Electoral Officer has replaced presiding officer of a polling centre number 15, Matnaar with another presiding officer on Monday while the polling was in progress for Chiktrakot state assembly by-poll.

According to office of the DEO, Bastar the presiding  officer was shifted due to health issues.

Meanwhile, Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) president Amit Jogi tweeted and posted in Facebook showing a clipping of polling centre 14, Maardum in which the presiding officer is seen going up to an elector and trying to tell something. Seeing this, the person who shot the video, told him not to do so. Let the tribal elector cast his vote. Amit had alleged that money and administration are being misused and even after complaint, the Election Commission did not take action.
