The players of the Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy are continuing to perform well in the 19th Kumar Surendra Singh Smriti Shooting Championship held in Delhi. Academy's rifle and pistol players won a silver medal.
The Academy of Shooting Academy has won 15 medals so far in the championship. These rifle players earned three gold, five silver and five bronze medals and pistol players two silver medals.
Academy's player Aparajita Singh, Sunidhi Chohan and Jenb Hussein gave silver medal to Madhya Pradesh at the 50-meter Rifle team event of women senior category played today in the championship. While the trio of Surabhi Pathak, Chinki Yadav and Mahima Agarwal at the 10 meter Air Pistol Women team event, silver medal with 1699 points to Madhya Pradesh. Railways stood first with 1704 points and Punjab was at number three with 1683 points.
Prior to this, the pistol players earned the silver medal in Madhya Pradesh by bagging 1718 points in the 25m Sports Pistol Women Team Event. The team included Surabhi Pathak, Chinki Yadav and Mahima Agrawal.
Haryana with 1721 points and CRPF remained second with 1690 points.
On this achievement of the players, the State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Jitu Patwari has congratulated the medal winners.
He said that we are proud of the players of the Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy and their trainers.
Dorector Sports and Youth Welfare SL Thoussen also appreciated the players performance and congratulated the medal winners.
It is worth mentioning that the Chief Instructor of the Rifle Player Shooting Academy, Suma Suroor, trainer Sunita Lakhan and Assistant Trainer Vaibhav Sharma and Chief Instructor of Pistol Player Academy Jaspal Rana and Assistant Trainer Jaywardhan Singh are training for shooting games.
