Nisha tops Class X, Yogendra is Class XII topper

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on Friday announced its much-awaited results of Class 10 and Class 12 at its official website cgbse.nic.in.

Nisha Patel, a resident of Raigarh, has topped Chhattisgarh Class 10 board exam by securing 99.3 percent. This year, the pass percentage has increased by 7 per cent. Last year 61.04 per cent students had cleared the class 10 board exam.

 Yogendra Verma of Mungeli district has clinched the top position in the Chhattisgarh class 12 exam this year. Verma has secured 97.40 per cent. The overall pass percentage of Chhattisgarh Class 12 exam has increased by 1.64 per cent.

Overall, 78 per cent students have cleared Chhattisgarh Class 12 board exam, while 68 per cent students cleared Class 10 board exam.

Over 6 lakh students had appeared in the CGBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examination this year.

As per the 10th board exam results declared by the CGBSE, Yogesh Sahu of Baloda Bazar secured second rank with 98 percent, Tilak Jha of Mahasamund and Hema Sahu of Korba shared the third rank with 97.83 percent, Rani Bhagat of Raigarh stood fourth with 97.67 percent, Yugal Kishore Nayak of Raigarh and  Nitesh Kumar Yadav of Jashpur shared fifth rank with 97.50 percent, Shrishti Gaur of Janjgir held sixth rank, Sakshi Mishra and Raj Singh of Raigarh held seventh rank, Hitanshi Jain of Balod, Tankeshwar Nirmalkar of Kawardha, Manvi Kaushik of Bilaspur, Bhavna Patel of Raigarh, Sushil Kumar Patel of Raigarh jointly secured eighth rank, Jagriti Sinha of Kanker secured ninth rank and Monika Yadav of Durg, Deepika Lakra of Raipur, Priyanka Sidar of Janjgir-Champa, Rajendra Prasad and Avinash Chandel of Korba secured 10th rank in the merit list.

As per the results of higher secondary school (12th CGBSE board exam), Yogendra Verma topped the list with 97.40 percent marks, Devendra Sahu of Mungeli secured second position with 97.20 percent marks, Aditya Singh of Mahasamund and Vinita Patel of Bilaspur secured third rank with 95.80 percent marks, Kshama Devi Rajpur of Bilaspur secured fourth rank with 95.60 percent marks, Manisha Kumari of Durg, Ritu Kumari of Korba, Udit Kumar Dewangan of Kanker held fifth rank with 95.40 percent marks, Lucky Dewangan of Durg, Kiran Sahu of Raipur, Abhishek Kumar of Janjgir-Champa, Mahendra Behra of Jashpur secured sixth rank, Khushi Ganjir of Dhamtari, Ankit Bhoi of Mahasamund, Aman Singh of Mungeli secured seventh rank, Namrata of Durg, Bindiya Choudhary of Raigarh secured eighth rank, Sanjana Agrawal of Mahasamund secured ninth rank and Lochan Kumar Patel of Kawardha, Shahnawaz Ansari of Raipur, Seema Pradhan and Naresh Chouhan of Raigarh secured 10th rank in the merit list.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has extended his hearty congratulations to the meritorious students and the students, who have successfully cleared the CGBSE board examinations.
