An Open Learning Day was organised at Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

The Indian Institute of Forest Management, which is one of the country's renowned B-schools, is trying to undertake an educational-learning initiative called "Open Learning Day".

The idea behind this Open Learning Day was to provide students with the opportunity to learn outside of classrooms through real-life activities and tasks.

As many as 13 groups of students of two-year postgraduate programmes in Forest Management and Sustainability Management participated in the open day to sell their things by talking to customers in the market.

Students used all the necessary skills to sell their products to customers at various places in Bhopal such as New Market, Mata Mandir, Limnabhatti, 10 Number Market, Bithan Market, MP Nagar and ShahpuraMarket.

The idea was to provide a platform for students to put creativity, innovation and critical thinking in a pleasant environment by breaking the monotony of learning in classrooms and encouraging practical learning. This is the second event of this series.

Notably it was a second 'Open Learning Day', was a empirical programme on sales and marketing in which the students of the institute will hold selected items in the form of illustrated fiction books and learning material from Eklavya.
