Chief Minister Ragubar Das on Thursday held a meeting of BJP Vistaraks, or full-time worker seeking feedback about party preparations for parliamentary elections at State BJP headquarter. The party Vistaraks are full time members who visit every homes, building in the state to ensure that the party’s views can be directly presented before common people.
The Chief Minister on the occasion issued necessary directions to full time party workers to reach out to masses highlighting the various developmental schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The CM asked the BJP workers to go through various social media medium to reach out to masses.
State BJP spokesperson, Deepak Prakash said, “The Vistaraks are core members for any party. It is the Vistaraks who reaches out to people highlighting the schemes of government. The CM gave necessary instructions to party workers how to reach to people highlighting the schemes. ” The CM also asked the party workers to be active in social media countering the allegations made by opposition parties. The CM also sought the feedback of Vistaraks about the work they have done in the areas.
BJP national president Amit Shah had mooted the idea of Vistaraks two years back under which BJP leaders had to spend a day at various booths in the district, interacting with voters and also making them aware of the Central government schemes led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Vistarak Yojana”, is aimed at targeting the individual voter, which is the basic unit of the electioneering process.
