Regional Museum of Natural History organizes Animal Clay Model Making Workshop

Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal organized “Animal Clay Model Making Workshop” on the occasion of International Museum Day on May 18, 2019.  48 underprivileged students from various NGOs from Bhopal like children of Shyam Nagar from Parvarish-the Museum School, Children of Ishwar Nagar from Bachpan, Aranya, Children of Education Society of Bhopal from Anunya and Children from Banganga, North TT Nagar, Bhopal participated in the workshop. In the beginning of workshop, Scientist-B, Shri Manik Lal Gupta informed to all participants that International Museum Day is celebrated every year on this.

On this occasion, Museum is extending demonstration to make create models of biggest terrestrial animal i.e. Elephant and Reptile; Turtle.  And he appealed that all participants should save all the animals including these two.  During the workshop, In-charge of the Museum & Scientist-B Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma explained the importance of International Museum Day and made appeal for conservation of biodiversity, natural resources, water etc. for future generation. During the workshop, Participants created Elephant and Turtle with the help of clay in the guidance of Dr. Anant Kumar Sahu, Subject Expert from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bhopal and Exhibit Preparator/Modeler of the museum, Arvind Anupam.
