Follow the Vedic path

Just like violence, pollution has also become a problem for the nation, especially for the people in metro cities. But we should pay attention towards Vedic knowledge like Rigved mantra, which focusses only on the extreme happiness and prosperity and not on issues like pollution.

The constitution of Vedas governs the earth. However, when people do not follow Vedic rules, which emanate directly from god, it leads to destruction.

In this regard, Vedas state that by performing daily agnihotra/yajyen, pollution gets destroyed completely. The problem of pollution remains unsolved because man-made means are being adopted ignoring the divine Vedic approach.

The study of Mahabharata, Shastras and Valmiki Ramayana reveals that during previous yugas, there was no house where daily agnihotra was not performed. As a result, the air was clean and breathable.

Some of the benefits of yajyen to destroy pollution are — when we add ghee and samigri in the havankund while saying the Ved mantras, the divine qualities of the it ends the pollution and yajyen purifies earth. God commands in Yajurved mantra to perform yajyen with Ved mantras, which helps to prevent infectious diseases and gives constant relaxation. A French scientist, Trelle, discovered that the wood of mango tree when burnt in a yajyen liberates formic aldehyde gas which destroys all the harmful bacteria and makes the atmosphere pure. A scientist named Tautlik also discovered that if we breathe yajyen smoke for half an hour, the bacterias of typhoid are destroyed completely.

Everybody knows that matters are never destroyed but they only change their shape. There is also a misunderstanding that yajyen/havan generates carbon dioxide. But when carbon dioxide comes out from havan, duly mixed with ghee and other samigris, it becomes beneficial to all humans. Burning of mango wood does not liberate much of carbon-dioxide.

I can recall to have read an article about a country, (most probably Chilli), where a forest dried up due to a virus in herbs and trees. The government tried their level best to find the solution but nothing could be done. The country came to know about yajyen, which revived the forest.

We must understand that this grave problem of pollution is universal and does not pertain to a particular section or class. Therefore, yajyen/agnihotra is best divine solution to counter this problem from its roots.
