Wednesday, 25 November 2020 | PNS | NEW DELHI

The MBBS, also known as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, has been one of the prestigious courses among medical students across the globe since generations.

But as Haryana Government colleges, Kerala and Karnataka private colleges seek a hike in fees which is affecting the counselling process as well. During this Covid-19 situation fees hike has become a challenge for many. MBBS fees in medical colleges in Haryana is raised from `56,000 to `80,000 plus the bond fees.

Commenting on the fee hike Gaurav Tyagi, Founder — Career Expert said: “The coronavirus pandemic already had a devastating impact on the lives of the people. The government should look into this matter. As already due to this pandemic, there has been a delay in counselling, admissions and semesters. This fee hike can be the hurdle for many brilliant students.”
