FPI condemns Dubey encounter

Monday, 13 July 2020 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

The Freethought Party of India (FPI) has strongly condemned the “coldblooded murder” of the “surrendered” don  Vikas Dubey  in a fake encounter in order to save many BJP leaders who had derived dividends for having a nexus with him.

"Had he been lawfully tried he could have exposed the political leaders of BJP, BSP and SP who helped him to survive so long in UP’s Goonda Raj," told an FPI release.

It was a shame that Vikas Dubey, now 50+, a notorious criminal of Kanpur facing over 60 cases of murder, extortion, land grabbing, etc., could not be taken to task because of his high connections with politicians, businessmen and police authorities. On July 3, he killed eight policemen in Kanpur and slipped to Ujjain. He got “arrested” on July 9 while he was coming out of  Mahakal Temple, Ujjain. The UP police were bringing him to Kanpur. On the way, the vehicle overturned and the police that gunned him down are saying for public consumption that Dubey was trying to shoot the policemen and in self-defence the police had to gun him down.
