BSNL introduces new prepaid plans

On the occasion of Durga Puja, Dusshera, Diwali and Milad- un- Nabi, BSNL has introduced new plans for its prepaid subscribers available from October 17 to November 30. The plan for Rs 1,999 with 60 days extra validity offers unlimited calling to any network, daily 3GB data and 100 SMS. Free PRBT, facility to change unlimited songs and EROS NOW will be available for two months. The plan for Rs 699 offer unlimited calling to any network, daily 0.5 GB data and 100 SMS and extra validity of 20 daRs 247 includes unlimited calling to any network, daily 3.5 GB data and 100 SMS and extra validity of 10 days. Free PRBT facility and EROS NOW will also be included. The plan of Rs 147 provides unlimited calling to any network and 10 GB data with a validity of 35 days instead of 30 days. Free BSNL tunes will also be available and the offer is valid from October 17 to November 30. For a top- up of Rs 60 subscribers can avail 60 talk value and the offer is available from October 17 to November 30. KK Singh Chief General Manager, Jharkhand Telecom Circle and Ramashraya Prasad General Manager Jharkhand Telecom stated that BSNL is committed to proving attractive plans at reasonable rates to its subscribers.

IINRG holds awareness campaign

An awareness campaign was organised by the Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums under the Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav program focusing on the basic rights and duties of citizens enshrined in the constitution at Sursu village in Anagada block adopted by the institute. Scientist E. Ranjit Singh, who was present in this programme, gave information about lac processing and value added products from lac. Apart from this, analysis was made about the method of making value added products from fruits such as jam, jelly etc. P. Patmazhi, Assistant Chief Technical Officer, gave important suggestions about lac cultivation. Technician SK Meena, made them aware of the basic rights and duties and Technician Lokesh Meena made the farmers aware of the safety from Corona and masks were distributed. All the villagers present at the end of the programme were asked about their problems and were given possible suggestions and they were requested to contact the institute for future problems related to lac cultivation.

JPPC meeting on Lt Kartik Oraon

A meeting of the Jharkhand Pradesh Professional Congress Committee was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Jharkhand Pradesh Professional Congress president Aditya Vikram Jaiswal. In the meeting, it was decided to celebrate the upcoming birth anniversary of late Congress leader Karthik Oraon with great pomp on 29 October 2020. Karthik Oraon's works will be delivered to the people through virtual meetings. Simultaneously, the JPPC will also pay homage to him at the late Karthik Oraon Chowk in Harmu on the day. The speakers at the meeting said that Kartik Oraon had given the British Government the format of the world's largest automatic power station in 1959. Birsa Agricultural University was established as well as he was a favorite of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Mrs. Indira Gandhi, who left their jobs and entered politics.

New mall inaugurated in Coal capital

Prabhatam Grand, claimed to be one of the largest malls in Jharkhand was inaugurated on Friday here. Giving details Mayank Gupta director of the international standard mall said that the mall fulfills all international parameters and would be managed in similar manner. Besides, having four multiplexes, the mall has 40,000 Sqft area for corporate offices, 2.25 lakh sqft area for commercial establishments and 1.25 sqft space for hotels, said Mayank .The mall has been constructed by Prabhatam Group of companies having interests in media, real estate besides other ventures, told Mayank. Around 200 cars can be parked into the parking lot of this mall that is not too far away from GT Road near Dhaiya .

Sunny Toppo is new J'khand Tribal Cong VP

Tribal Congress Chairman, SS Hansda has nominated Sunny Toppo as the Vice President of the Tribal Congress of Jharkhand in the interest of the organisation.
