Pension Adalat Organised at CCL

A Pension Adalat was organized at Vichar Manch of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Headquarter. Ranchi on Wednesday in the presence of about 150 retired employees of the company.

The employees expressed their grievances in presence of the CMPF officers and the company’s management. Assistant Commissioner CMPF-Region-1, RK Sinha, General Manager (Social Security/Pension), CCL UP Narayan, General Manager (P/IR) CCL Umesh Singh listened to their grievances and assured quick disposal of the same.  All the safety protocols adhering to Covid pandemic were observed. The attendees wore masks and social distancing was practiced. Seventeen employees were given Pension Permit Order (PPO), which was collected by the beneficiary or their authorized representatives. CMPF officers informed that Eight other employees will soon have their PPO.          

They further stated that pension amount settlement of eighteen more employees is in the final stage and PPO will be issued to them at the earliest.

Sixty- six grievances were raised during the Adalat. CCL Management and CMPF officers vowed to look into the matter and settle the grievances promptly.

CMD, CCL PM Prasad congratulated the pension department for successfully organizing the Pension Adalat. He stated that the company is committed to solve the problems of the retired employees and they will continue these kinds of activities in the future.

Director Personal CCL, Vinay Ranjan stated that these kinds of events provide an opportunity to people to air their problems. He said that in future Pension Adalat’s will be organized in the operational areas of the company.  He further stated that the Personal department will implement new initiatives for the benefit of the superannuated employees.

Chief Manager (Pension), Archana Sinha, Smt Kavita Kumari and other employees were present on the occasion.
