SISTec among top 51-75 institutes in ARIIA-2020 ranking

Sagar Group’s Sagar Institute of Science and Technology – SISTec has bagged the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA-2020) setup by MHRD's Innovation Cell (MIC), Ministry of Education Government of India and All India Council for Technical Education.

The ranking was announced virtually by Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu in presence of  Union Education Minister and MoS for Education Ministry Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’. In ARIIA-2020 ranking, SISTec was ranked in top 51-75 Institutes in North Zone in Private or Self-Financed College/ Institutes category.

From Bhopal, SISTec is the only Private / Self-Financed College/Institutes of Engineering, Pharma and MBA Institution to attain the rankings. The ranking is assessed on innovation and startup ecosystem in Higher Education Institutions based on seven parameters of  - Infrastructures & Facilities to Support Innovations and Start-ups; Budget, Expenses to Support & Revenue Generated; Awareness Activities for Promoting Idea Generation and Innovation; Promotion and Supporting Entrepreneurship Development ;  Intellectual Property (IP) Generation, Technology Transfer and Commercialization; Innovative Learning Methods & Courses;  Innovations in Governance of the Institution.  SISTec is on a network of IIC’s across India to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion Eco-System in the campuses. IIC selection of SISTec was basis past functionality of entrepreneurship cell and its vision along with ownership towards this cell to promote and provide maximum patents of trending technologies.

Mr Siddharth Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Managing Director, Sagar Group, congratulated Team SISTec for attaining the prestigious Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA-2020) said, “We are thankful to Government of India, Ministry of HRD and AICTE for selecting SISTec to establish Institution Innovation Council.
