Wednesday, 13 October 2021 | PNS | BODH GAYA

Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya was inaugurated by Dr Subhas Sarkar, Minister of State for Education, Governmemt of India on  October 5,  2021. Being from East India himself, he mentioned how this programme is the first of its kind in eastern India and highlighted how it can be a boon for students belonging to diverse backgrounds. Day one of the three-day orientation programme for the 2021-26 batch saw a number of eminent personalities who graced the event with their wise words.

The five-year programme  aims to prepare students from a foundation level for taking up leadership positions and grow the students' mindset to have a global perspective towards management practice. The programme is the first of its kind in eastern India and has a rigorous curriculum that offers experiential learning, international immersion, and a focus on a student's holistic development, aiming to deliver ethical and socially-conscious leaders.

Dr Sandip Ghose, Ex-Director NISM, BOG member IIM Bodh Gaya, said how IPM is a blessing for students to become whatever they want. He added, “Learning is a constant process” and asked the students to make every effort to acquire new skills and deliver to the expectations of the people. Dr Sarkar concluded his thoughts by saying, “The quality of the future depends on the quality of education we provide to the youth.”
