The Political editor of The Pioneer, Tavishi Srivastva, died of Covid-19 on Sunday. She was 73. Tavishi was admitted to the Covid hospital of the KGMU on Sunday morning after she reported breathlessness and fever. She was shifted to ICU in the evening after her condition deteriorated and at night she succumbed to Covid.
She started her career as freelancer with The Pioneer and later climbed the ladder of success through her hardwork. Her column Ulta Pradesh in Sunday Edition of Agenda was quite popular. Political leaders, social activists and journalists condoled her death.
