Pioneer family bereaved

It is with deep sorrow that The Pioneer informs its readers about the sudden demise of its accomplished Deputy News Editor Ajay Kumar Choudhary in New Delhi on Friday evening. Ajay, 40, had complained of breathlessness around 2 pm on Friday, following which he was rushed to Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini where he was declared brought dead.

Ajay, who returned to the national Capital on Thursday night after 10-day stay with his ailing grandfather in his hometown Darbhanga, had been having mild fever for the last 10 days, his wife said. The sad news has left his family members and colleagues shell-shocked as they are unable to accept the fact that a convivial face has left for the heavenly abode. Ajay is survived by his wife and a 5-year old daughter.
