‘Reservation for OBCs in UG/PG med, dentistry courses historic’

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to give reservation to OBCs and economically weaker sections in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical/ dentistry is historic. It will provide better opportunities to thousands of our youth every year and will set benchmarks in the field of social justice in the country.

It has been decided by the Central Government to give 27 percent reservation to the Other Backward Classes and 10 percent to the economically weaker sections in the All India Quota of Medical/Dental Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses from the current academic session.
